Heavy-duty bikes for commercial use

In professional environments – i.e. in trade, local government, logistics or industry – heavy-duty bicycles are used almost exclusively.

In Germany, the BOoE (Federal Office of Economics and Export Control) has been supporting the purchase of commercially used electric cargo e-bikes since October 2024 with up to 25% of the purchase price (max. €3,500 per bike). (Bundesamt für Wirtschaft und Ausfuhrkontrolle) seit Oktober 2024 den Kauf von gewerblich genutzten E-Lastenrädern mit bis zu 25 % der Anschaffungskosten (max. 3.500 € pro Rad).
